Login Issues: Which of the 3 login options should I choose?

The SMART IRB Reliance System offers 3 distinct login options, including Single Sign On (SSO), NIH, and Login.gov. Each of these methods incorporates multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure secure login.

Single Sign On (SSO)

For institutions that are members of the InCommon Federation, you may utilize your institutional SSO credentials to access the SMART IRB Reliance System. 

NIH
NIH sign on is intended for NIH staff and employees.

Login.gov
For individuals and institutions who lack SSO credentials in the InCommon Federation, the login.gov method should be utilized.
