The Overall Principal Investigator (PI) or Site Investigators who are named in a request are provided read-only access to the request package; this means they may view the request details and status, follow the determination process, and download pertinent materials from the system (e.g., the request and determination PDFs). However, only the Request Point of Contact (i.e., the original submitter) will be able to edit the request.
Read-only access requires a user account.
Adding a User with an Existing Account
If the PI or SI you are adding to a request already has an account in the Online Reliance System, you can add them to the request by first selecting their institution. The "Existing ORS Account" drop-down will then populate with the name and email of all of the available users from that institution. By selecting the user from the drop-down, you will auto-populate their information into the name, phone number, and email fields below.
When they log in to the system, they will be able to view the study and any other requests in which they are named.
Adding a User who does not have an ORS Account
If the PI or SI you are adding does not already have an ORS account, simply fill out the form with their contact details, omitting the "Existing ORS Account" field. After the form is saved, the user can then create their account in the Online Reliance System through the standard process (Create an applicant account). When they gain access to the system, they will be able to view the study and any other requests in which they are named.
