Whose conflict of interest policies do a non-federal Relying Institution’s Research Personnel members follow?

Study teams are required to follow their home institution’s policies for the reporting and management of potential conflicts of interest. The Reviewing IRB may impose additional requirements when reviewing a specific study.

Note: This article is applicable to non-federal Relying Institutions only. In the case of federal agency study teams, research personnel may be asked to provide an assurance that the agency has completed COI analyses and that the participation of agency research personnel is permissible and consistent with federal law.
