No, institutions may not limit the scope of the V3.0 Indemnification Addendum to render it a one-way indemnification agreement. If institutions wish to engage in such indemnification arrangements, we recommend that a non-SMART IRB Indemnification Addendum be utilized to document such an arrangement.
