Version 3.0 went live on March 17, 2025. Since that date it is the only version of the Agreement that can be used for new reliance arrangements. The retired Joinder system and Online Reliance System were replaced by the Reliance System on the same day.

Migrating a legacy study to Version 3.0. Optional. Both the Reviewing IRB Institution and the Relying Institution must be V3.0 signatories and both must agree. Keep a written record of the agreed migration with the study's reliance documentation. Version 3.0 arrangements cannot be moved to a legacy version.
