The Reliance System allows for users to be added to a Reliance Request at any time. Being added to a reliance request allows that user to view the request in their own SMART IRB Reliance System Dashboard. If the research personnel added is from the PI Home Institution, the added research personnel will also be able to make edits for the request, including adding other sites, personnel, or making general edits to the submission (if the submission is in 'draft', 'under review', or 'action required' states).
To add additional research personnel to a request:
- To add research personnel, navigate to the Reliance Dashboard, select the vertical ellipses and 'Edit Request':
Navigate to 'Site Details', and select the site in question for whom who you wish to add personnel:
Select 'Add Personnel' and subsequently complete relevant details regarding the added personnel.
4. Add relevant personnel to the request by indicating their role, e-mail address, and other pertinent information:
Please note that listing research personnel in the Reliance System does not replace the typical local and IRB process for personnel change amendments, the process of which should be handled between the institutions in question.
