Institution not listed in Reliance System

An institution that I want to add as a Site Involved with my study is not listed in the drop-down menu in the Reliance System. What should I do?

The reliance request sites involved drop-down includes all SMART IRB Participating Institutions. If you cannot find an institution you wish to engage with in this list, this either means (a) the institution is not a SMART IRB Participating Institution, or (b) the institution is listed under a different name. If you are unsure, you can always reach out to the SMART IRB Helpdesk at help@smartirb.org .

If you can select the institution in question but the workflow prevents you from proceeding, this likely means that the institution for which you wish to engage has not joined V3.0. Check the Participating Institutions page to determine whether this is the case. If the institution is not listed as a SMART IRB Participating Institution for V3.0, you may ask the collaborating investigator from that site to contact their IRB or HRPP office to discuss joining SMART IRB.
